No community exchange in your area?
If there is not a CES exchange in your area why not start one! If you feel that there are enough people in your community who might be interested in trading without using your ever-scarce national currency, or who are troubled by the serious problems created by our current debt-based money system, register a new exchange. We will contact you after receiving your registration and begin the process of setting it up.
Join your existing group to the CES network
If you are already a member of an existing complementary currency trading group, such as a LETS group or time bank, why not register your group with the CES and become part of an international, complementary currency trading network that permits global trading. By linking your group to the CES you can move your accounts to a sophisticated, internet-based system and take advantage of the many built-in tools for administering the group. Your legacy data can be imported into CES so you can carry on from where you left off.
No costs in conventional money
There is no cost in conventional money to be part of the Community Exchange Network. We are doing everything possible to eliminate our need for conventional money and create a system that runs on its own steam.
Please note:
Registering an exchange means that you or your organisation becomes the Administrator of the exchange. What the CES provides is just the tool for managing your exchange, it is not the exchange itself. An exchange is a real life, on-the-ground entity established for the purpose of facilitating trade in your community without the use of conventional currencies. To find out more about what it means to be Administrator, read here.
To manage your exchange, there are three built-in management interfaces:

NB: Please do not register just to have a look. The demonstration site contains most of the features that appear on the real site. We are seeking active participants who wish to trade with other members of their communities.
